Fair Isles Fantasy
Saturday, March 5th, 2005Fair Isles Fantasy was musical concert played by Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra at Michigan Theater. This was the first time I went to a musical concert because it was required for me to go by my Music History class. It was really different…it was little boring but the time went by so fast. They only played four different pieces which was overall was around 2 hours.
The program was as followed:
Hebrides Overture (”Fingal’s Cave”), Op. 26
Felix Mendelssohn
Scottish Fantasy, Op. 46
Max Bruch
A Letter Home
Matthew Tommasini
Variations on an Original Theme (”Enigma”), Op. 36
Sir Edward Elgar
